Reinvented...reinvigorated(!)
Just went through and deleted up to half my tumblr posts, to make this less a reblog repository and more an original oeuvre. It’s still pretty shit, though. Sorry. But, I do have a blog where I write meaningful things! I haven’t written on it for a while, but hopefully enough inflammatory comments will force me to respond, and then we’ll get this ball rolling, eh?

Gigs
This is more as a reminder for later on, than for you, my fair readers – chronologically (bolded are bands I went to see; others are supports): The Scientists/Sonic Youth (18 February ‘08) Midnight Juggernauts/The Flaming Lips (28 July ‘09) RX Bandits/Motion City Soundtrack/Glassjaw/Sunny Day Real Estate/Jimmy Eat World (25 February ‘10) Gersey/Pavement (4 March ‘10) ...

Dealing with capped internet: The five stages of...
‘Why is this Youtube video loading so slowly? Am I capped?*’ This happens to me every month. Reflecting on the fact I actually have to ask myself this so frequently reminded me of the ‘five stages of grief’ that people who confront terrible ordeals or tragedies have to undergo (allegedly; see: wikipedia). Seeing as how my Internet gets capped a week or so into the month,...

Tattoo?
What would be a good tattoo to get? Something not too wanky, but also not just ironic and playful. Symbols and words would be nicer than a graphic.

New blog!
So I wanted to use the Cargo theme for this one, but it turned out that it only looked good if you had a lot of photos. Text posts, or quotes, or links, all turned out pretty shite. Photos on the other hand, looked amazing, with grid view making each photo into its own box. As a compromise, I chose a more text friendly (I hope) theme for this tumblr, and Cargo theme for another one...

Love rekindled with the site. Beautiful images. Meaningful - sometimes pretentious - captions on the photos, but overall a pretty inspirational site. Check it out!

Le Beatl's
So The Beatles remastered stereo/mono box set came out recently. Absolutely amazing, totally rekindled my love for the band, and made me reconsider my previously stubborn position of ‘The Rolling Stones > The Beatles.’ No, not just reconsidered. I will announce it here first, I stand corrected. The Beatles are a much better band, there is no doubt about it. Another thing I have...

Hey there, lemon square!
So I wrote a pretty awesome first post. It wasn’t saving though, so I copied it and opened it on Google Chrome (I was using Safari before). Then, stupidly, I closed Safari. Not bad, because I had copied it anyway, right? Wrong. I copied a link before I closed Safari…thus destroying my amazing introduction. So there we go. Good first impression, right? Basically, I went through a few...
